Jio has launched a new app 'Jio Group Talk App' and this app is available for download from play store but this app not listed on the company's official website under the app section and also not available for iOS users.

As mentioned in the description of the app on the Google Play Store, new Jio Group Talk is a one-touch multiparty calling app available exclusively for Jio users only it means this app will work with Jio sim only. 



This app allows you to call a maximum of 10 persons at one time which is different from general conference call, where you have to call one person and then add the second person to the ongoing call while putting the first person on hold.



How to use the Jio Group Talk App

To use this app you should be a Jio user. Also, you should have a smartphone which supports VoLTE.

Go to Google Play Store and download the app and sign-in using your Jio number, You will receive an OTP which you have to enter for mobile number verification. 

This app is running only on the beta version. To participate in user beta trial, mail your mobile number at contactsjiojgt@gmail.com

This app allows users to place a call to both Jio and Non-Jio numbers. Jio Group Talk app supports HD calling which gives the high-quality HD conference call experience.

You can send a conference call invitation in one click.

There is a Lecture Mode, During Lecture Mode One member speaks and others are muted. 

Recent, Group and Contacts these are the three-tab. The Recent tab will show you all your recent calls. Group shows all the list of the created list. And  the last tab is Contacts that has all the contacts stored on your phone

The app allows a maximum of 10 members in a conference call. Users can add/remove and even mute participants during an outgoing call.


Interesting: No data charges but you should have a Jio sim. Data used in a call will not from your per day data quota.
