What is TCS Elevate Wings 1?

It is an internal exam conducted by TCS for their employees. By clearing this exam, employees can convert their profile from Ninja(3.36LPA) to Digital(7LPA) or Digital(7LPA) to Innovator(9LPA). TCS conducts 3 times a year i.e there is 3 cycle in a year.

What are the eligibility criteria?

As of 2025 there is change is eligiblity criteria 

Previously it was as follows:
There are 3 ways to become eligible for TCS Elevate wings 1
  1. By Completing courses on iEvolve (iEvolve -> Certification -> In Progress)
    • If you are targeting Ninja to Digital then you have to complete a minimum of 1 Tech Track and 1 Non-Tech Track( it can be either Business Skill/Articulation/Process/Unit Elective)
    • If you are targeting Digital to Innovator hen you to complete all the courses.
  2. By self-declaring competencies
    • You can declare competencies on iEvolve
    • The TCS Elevate team publish the list of competencies for different Tracks, so you can declare the competencies according to your choice of Track
  3. If you High Performing Talent(4/5 rating or A/B Band) then also you become eligible for TCS Elevate Wings 1

New Eligibility criteria:
1. You need be a High Performing associate i.e. your rating should be 4/5 or band should be A/B
2. You Need to complete course on iEvolve of respective track for which you wan to appear in exam. 

How to apply for Elevate Wings 1 exam?

TCS rollout form for TCS Elevate Wings 1 on Knome Portal at the start of each cycle. You need to choose the Tracks in which you want to give the exam. 

Which track is the easiest track to get Digital Cadre?

In order to clear TCS Elevate Wings 1 to get Digital Cadre from Ninja, you need to exam in the following combination
  • 1 Tech Track(Distinction)+ 1 Non-Tech Track/1 Tech Track (Distinction)
So you can choose any Tech Track, you are familiar with and Business Track 2. You need to get a distinction(75% or above) in Tech Track and Business skills. 
To clear Tech track first you need to appear for MCQ exam if you clear the MCQ exam then you will called for in office Handson exam. In Handson exam there will be Coding question for respective track you need clear it with distinction. 
Business Skill 2 question come from the course material only.

So you can target these two tracks and with a proper plan and 2-3 weeks preparation will be enough to clear these tracks.
